Step 2: Clean Wheels
|
What's needed:
Make sure wheels are cool and
dry (water on wheels dilutes the effectiveness of wheel
cleaners). If wheels are hot, spray with water to cool.
Clean one wheel at a time. Spray cleaner evenly over wheel
and tire and allow cleaner to soak for 30 seconds. Note:
If wheel is extremely dirty, some mild agitation with
a wheel brush (or paintbrush) may be necessary. You can
also spray cleaner on the backside (inside) of the wheel
and agitate with the wheel brush. Rinse with a strong
stream of water. Repeat on remaining wheels, one at a
time.
Tips:
- A 2 to 3"-wide paintbrush is great for agitating hard-to-reach and heavily soiled areas.
- If your fender wells are dirty, you can spray Eagle One All Wheel and Tire Cleaner on them while doing each wheel. This will help achieve a pristine look.
- Spray a coat of Wax As-U-Dry on each wheel to protect and shine the wheels (and make cleaning easier next time).
