Step 9: Final Wipe and Touch Up

What's needed:

While a final wipe is not necessary, it can add that final touch when detailing. Apply a light mist of Eagle One Wipe & Shine to each panel and lightly wipe the surface. This will help to remove any wax residue that may be left. You can also use a detailing brush to remove any remaining wax residue from seams, emblems and around trim. To maintain your wax finish and increase durability, use Wax As-U-Dry® every car wash. This keeps your car looking freshly waxed with minimal effort. Wax AS-U-Dry will add a layer of wax protection and shine without the white residue found in traditional polishes and waxes.

Tips:

  1. Kneel down and examine the length of the vehicle at an angle. Inspect the entire vehicle while doing this and look for any water spots or wax you may have missed.
  2. If you see any water spots after driving your vehicle, use Wipe & Shine with a damp cloth to remove them.
  3. An easy way to make a detailing brush is by using a soft-bristled paintbrush. Start with a 2.5"-wide brush and cut the bristles in half. Finish the detailing brush by wrapping tape over the metal to prevent scratching.
